The Oak's Inn is nestled in the town of Wallaceburg, Ontario "a river runs through it" that being the Syndenham River. Wallaceburg has beautiful walking trails along Lake St. Clair, is famous for the annual "WAMBO" (Wallaceburg Automobile Motor and Boat Outing) festival held for three days the second week in August. Wallaceburg is the sun-belt of Ontario and is typically 3-5 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than the rest of the province. (You can click here to see our location map).

Walpole Island offers a ferry service (about 10 minutes from the hotel) to Michigan, U.S.A. or drive to Sarnia (aprrox. 40 minutes) and cross the border in Port Huron, Michigan for a variety of shopping choices.
