About The Oaks Inn

The Oak's Inn Hotel, Banquet and Convention Center is nestled in the town of Wallaceburg, Ontario "a river runs through it" that being the Syndenham River. Wallaceburg has beautiful walking trails along Lake St. Clair, is famous for the annual "WAMBO" (Wallaceburg Antique Motor and Boat Outing) festival held for three days the second week in August. Wallaceburg is the sun-belt of Ontario and is typically 3-5 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than the rest of the province. (You can click here to see our location map).

The Oak's Inn, a well-known landmark with a fine reputation in the Chatham-Kent area for offering outstanding guest service, renovated, comfortable and clean rooms, Health Club with Heated Indoor Salt Water Pool, The Cookhouse Restaurant for great meals & the lounge for viewing all of your favourite sporting events.

Enjoy gambling? The Town of Dresden just 10 minutes east of Wallaceburg offers a small OLG Casino with Slots and racetrack - or venture one hour further - Sarnia to the north, Windsor and Detroit to the West.

Walpole Island offers a ferry service (about 10 minutes from the hotel) to Michigan, U.S.A. or drive to Sarnia (aprrox. 40 minutes) and cross the border in Port Huron, Michigan for a variety of shopping choices.

The newly revitalized "Oak's Inn" is a popular choice for Weddings, Business Travellers and Families. We are also very popular in the spring, summer and fall with Sports Fisherman and in the Fall with Duck Hunters. We now have two luxurious whirlpool suites available.
